ANNA STEELEY

Anna was born in Paris, France and moved to the United States when she was 2 years old. She lived in both New York and Pennsylvania, but grew up mostly in Pennsylvania. She attended a performing arts High School, CAPA in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has always had a love for the arts and storytelling. Now as a graduate who studied Filmmaking with a minor in Digital Marketing at Champlain College. Anna is an award winning filmmaker. Her High School film Race to Vermont won second place at Vermont Freedom & Unity TV festival. The film was featured at the 2016 MLK day in Vermont as well as Anna being interviews on WCAX. Her most recent film, #MeThree won third place at Vermont Freedom & Unity, was a semi-finalist at Duemila30 in Milan, Italy. The film was also a finalist at Changing Faces in Australia and a semi-finalist at Cinefest in Los Angeles.

Annabelle,  a person of color in college is sexually assaulted by a fellow student who is also a coworker. When she reports the event,  with a boss who doesn’t believe her and the school refusing to acknowledge the situation, her voice is silenced at every turn. Annabelle feels isolated and alone, she is left to decide whether or not she should speak out or give in.
